Another magical evening of acoustic sets from artists and band members at Folkestone’s only dedicated music venue the RokanRolla.  This evening saw Libbi Jaeggi step in last minute with a beautiful set of original material.  Next up was Nick Price of Mistik Sin with a mix of original and covers.  Adam Jerome from 48 Hours followed with a powerful acoustic set and lastly saw Eyes of the Innocent in their 3 man acoustic version which produced some cool results.  A really relaxed evening full of banter from the stage and audience, much enjoyed by all who attended.

Here is a very small amount of the photography take from this evening, for full evenings photos please go to our facebook, this gig only page.

Another lovely Showcase Monday evening with some real up and coming talent was had at the RokanRolla, Folkestone’s only dedicated music venue.    These evening have started to prove very popular and give a platform for up and coming bands to showcase their stuff for free… Yes guys a free gig, so I recommend you get down there as you never know when you may be watching the next big thing!

A small selection of the evening’s photography is shown below, for the full nights photo’s please go to our Facebook page, this gig only

So the unusual part of this gig is already very apparent.  We were completely spoiled this night by Below the Radar Events and Promotions with 5… yes 5 bands and what top quality bands they were.  The energy on stage with night at this ska night was easily matched by the energy of the crowd and that is purely down to the bands being so awesome that no one could resist taking to the floor.  The photographs of this night completely tell the story of this gig so I highly recommend moving over to view the entire set on Facebook.  Link supplied below.

  • Estimated Time of Arrival
  • Escape the Ocean
  • Craig Sheridan
  • Vivid Nation

Ok so although on first glance this looks like a gig full of bands, in actual fact this was an evening of striped back bands and a chilled evening of acoustic sets.  What a night of really lovely pure music for a Monday evening.  The amazing Craig Sheridan (Crashgate) performed his last solo set for sometime and the awesome Vivid Nation still managed to rock it up a bit even in their striped back acoustic form and ended the evening with a real bang.  A truly pleasurable evening.
